Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
Postgres 13.6, Nginx frontend
64GB MEM, 12xCPU
1000 items/s processed
Steps to reproduce:
When querying specific host for latest data, the data retrieval is slow to the point with hosts with 1k+ items making Nginx to time out.
When querying latest data with host group, the retrieval works considerably faster.
The behaviour is similar to this post:
https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-help/440130-after-upgrading-to-zabbix-6-0-lts-latest-data-very-very-slow
The above post resolved with adding shared_buffers to postgres settings, but this didn't work on our environment. I have tested it with 32GB, but the mentioned latest data queries still time out.
As the search works really fast when using host group as filter, this is not desired behaviour. We are using a workaround at the moment to create groups with single hosts to check the latest data values.
