It asks for event ID, SOURCE, VALUE and Update Status. SOURCE/VALUE you can get from API object description, for status update - read the code, since 0 in some places is OK, in some places - not OK. ID - go and create event in OpsGenie.

This is confusing and not user friendly.

Expected:
Template description should contain short description and also notify that this template will try to close the already existing template in OpsGenie using 4 default fields to populate, instead of creating new one. So first you need to have to create some event in OpsGenie with Alias number set.
