The scripts fail to account for kube-state-metrics over https, it doesn't get controlPlane nodes with 'node-role.kubernetes.io/master' in metadata.labels, among other things.

I've attached a heavy rewrite of the scripts. Some things in the rewrite are probably best left out, like looking up params that were not set, so feedback is most welcome.

I would like to split it up into smaller logical commits/rewrites for easier reviewing.

Please let me know how to proceed for submitting this. (I've signed the ICLA, but I only have read-access to zabbix.git)
