Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new discovery rule:
- Name: Testrule
- IP range: 192.168.7.66 (something that won't respond, that doesn't matter)
- Checks: Add, SNMPv3 agent, SNMP OID = 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5, Add
- Device uniqueness criteria: select SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5"
- Host name: select SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5"
- Visible name: select SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5"
- Add
- Open rule Testrule again, see that the settings are still fine
- Click Edit on the Checks rule (SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5")
- Set Security name to Test, click Update
- Update
- Open rule Testrule again
Result:
- Host name is now set to "DNS name"
- Visible name is now set to "Host name"
Expected:
- Host name is still set to SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5"
- Visible name is still set to SNMPv3 agent "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5"
