Create web scenario with a single step and enter URL with a single 🍓:
Result, the web scenario becomes not supported with an error message:
Could not resolve host: xn--ti8h
Which is strange, what is " xn--ti8h" and where it comes from ?
Note, that typing equally invalid URL like:
🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓
produces a proper error that URL has bad formatting:
Step "🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Cherries 🍓🍒 Ch" [1 of 1] failed: URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL:
Expected behaviour: The error message in the first scenario must mention the proper error and that URL has bad/illegal formatting and display the symbols properly without mangling.
Or alternatively, even better - URLs with invalid symbols must not be allowed to be entered in the first place.
