During development of autotest which covers check functionality for Graph widgets data/item pattern suggestion, issue was found - item pattern field is not sorting data correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Import host file attached;
2. Check order of any Hosts > items;
3. Create new dashboard, add Graph widget;
4. Fill "host pattern" field with "Host for widget 1";
5. Write in "item pattern" "item", observe difference between 2nd step;

Result:
Order of provided items are not sorted.

Expected:
Order of items are sorted either ascending or descending.
