A few of the servers we have monitored throw the following error:
"Some command to the disk failed"
There are three servers which throw this error, two of them have some sort of a HW RAID card, the third one does not.
I have tried upgrading Zabbix server to the newest version (6.4.6 as of today) but it didn't help. The version of the Zabbix Agent2 doesn't seem to play a role either.
- Server #1
- Supermicro X11SPL-F
- RAID card: b3:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS-3 3108 [Invader] (rev 02), in IT mode (i.e. the disks are directly visible by the OS)
- OS: Proxmox 6 (Debian 10)
- Zabbix-Agent2, versioin 6.2.5
- Full error message(s):

- OS: Proxmox 8 (Debian 12)
- Zabbix-Agent2, versioin 6.4.4
- Full error message:

- Server #3
- Supermicro X11SSM-F-B
- No RAID card; the disk in question is an external HDD WD My Book 1144 (4 TB)
- OS: Proxmox 7 (Debian 11)
- Zabbix-Agent2, versioin 6.4.6
- Full error message:
SMART [sde sat]: Some command to the disk failed
Server templates for the hosts:
- Proxmox by Zabbix agent active
- SMART by Zabbix agent 2 active - servers - v2
- Systemd by Zabbix agent 2 active
- ZFS on Linux
Agent configuration is pretty barren, just server, hostname, TLS and the default includes.
Let me know if I can provide any more information.
Thank you
