There are several issues with popup menu handling across the UI:
- When a popup menu with many items is opened (e.g. a host with lots of Script entries clicked on a map view or Latest data page), that may cause the height of the whole page to change, producing jerking of the view-port, which is undesirable (as reported in (9) of
ZBX-17300):
- On Latest data page, clicking a host name near bottom of the list (click-placement marked in red), may open the menu much higher than the click coordinates, causing the need to move mouse/scroll up to reach the main (non-script) options:
- If an element is positioned close to the right-hand bounds of the page (bounding element), its sub-menus may overflow and their further sub-menus may be unreachable:
