It's not correct and misleading statement if look at this interface status:

There was a change in 6.2.
This must be updates accordingly to changes https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/6.2/en/manual/introduction/whatsnew620#active-checks-affect-host-availability

I thinks more examples should be added bottom of the page.
