We encountered a cloning problem - there is a difference whether the item is cloned within the template or the clone is made on the host.

When we are cloning an template item  on a template, everything goes OK. (its copy is identical to the original)

When we are cloning a host item to a host, it is OK. (a copy identical to the original)

When we are cloning a template item on a host and a host item is created, there is a problem. The clone is not identical to the original item. We tested it for item type HTTP agent.

With this type, the clone differs from the source item:

·         Request body type JSON, XML will be changed to RAW data in the clone

·         The Follow redirects check box will be cleared

We have not tested the other options (various item types and all the options of the http agent type), but it is highly likely that other parameters will be modified somehow. Incorrect cloning tested on versions 6.0.26 and 7.0.0beta2. So we assume that it does not work correctly on any version.
