- Set host to use PSK encryption.
- Configure script execution in Web UI
- Configure script execution in Zabbix Agent 2 configuration (separated config using /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agent2.d/zabbix_SystemRun.conf
- Configure sudo privileges on RHEL host.
- Click Monitoring -> Hosts -> <Host> -> <Script>
Result:
Active Command Execution throws error "cannot find host AGENT interface"
Expected:
Remote Commands as designed in the Web UI should execute on the target host when either manually executed or executed as a remediation function on a trigger. Per 7.0 documentation (2 Passive and active agent checks (zabbix.com)), "Note that remote command execution on an active agent is supported since Zabbix agent 7.0. [...]"
