i have to monitor a host such cisco 2950 using snmp, my items OID is IfInOctets.1-24 and ifOutOctetcs.1-24
when i set interval of monitoring to 1 to 40 second i 'got error for timeout in zabbix_server.log such:
"network error, wait for 15 seconds
2566:20100531:141001.295 Item [Lan Cisco:Input-FA15] error: Timeout while connecting to [*.*.*.*:161]"
and when i set interval to 60 sec or more any error is not appear
my processor load is 10% and memory used 25% IN ZABBIX server

which side dows this problem occur? switch(i guess) or zabbix server
how can i solve this problem ? increasing the interval or re-config any item
how can i get the minimum snmp interval of any devices or servers?
