A global script is working for a limited used as long as you do not enable "Enable user input" option in a script configuration.

If it's on, only Super Admins are able to run the script. All other user levels, like Admins, Users, with RW access to the host - they get an "Access denied" error. See screenshot.

Documentations does not mention any specific restrictions for limited users, so this looks like a bug.
