Currently Zabbix units description is split into 2 sections.

This page has the description of the Units field of the form:

and a section that describes Unit conversion, where it also explains the usage of exclamation mark (!). But there is even no link to the appendix page mentioned below.

Result

I googled "Zabbix units" and got to the page in appendix. It has very good description of how units work but there is no information about the exclamation mark (!) usage. I thought we miss this information but after bit more search I got to the Creating an item page where I found the corresponding section. If a user would get on the appendix page there is no way to get that information from there. I did find it only because I knew this feature exists.

Expected

I'd expect having everything in a single place and get rid of data duplication. For example:

• complete list of supported units
  • examples
• explanation of the exclamation mark
  • examples
