Hi Team,
We've encountered an issue with agent auto-registration after upgrading Zabbix agents from version 5 LTS to 7 LTS.
As part of the discovery process, a PowerShell script is executed on Windows hosts. With the RefreshActiveChecks interval set to 5 seconds, the script now runs every 5 seconds. In this case that causes a huge increase in the amount of ingested logging and of course some additional load to the servers.
This is unwanted behaviour. I’d like to highlight that such a short update interval for checking new active checks offers little value in most use cases. Therefore, I would like to suggest to increase the default value of the RefreshActiveChecks parameter.
