Issue:
When exporting a host configuration created in Zabbix 4.0 and importing it into Zabbix 5.0 or later, the import fails with the following error:
Error message:
Import failed
Cannot find interface "if1" used for item "ICMP ping" on "import-test".
Host configuration:
- Host uses an SNMP interface.
- No templates are used (items are directly configured on the host).
- Items are configured.
- Discovery rules (LLD, prototypes) are configured.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a host in Zabbix 4.0 with the above configuration (SNMP interface, direct items, and discovery rules).
- Export the host configuration.
- Import the configuration into Zabbix 5.0 or later.
Expected:
The host configuration should be imported successfully.
Additional information:
- If the host configuration only includes items (setting 3) or discovery rules (setting 4), the export/import is successful.
- If the host uses a Zabbix agent interface instead of an SNMP interface, the import is successful even with both items and discovery rules.
