I'm currently working on monitoring VM snapshots, but I would prefer not to create a separate host prototype for each VM. Ideally, I’d like to gather snapshot information under a single host.

Since it isn’t possible to create a dependent discovery rule based on an item prototype, I’ve been exploring alternative solutions. I’ve looked through the VMware documentation, but unfortunately haven’t found a clear method for retrieving snapshot data.

Would you mind sharing how you approach this? If you have any example code or resources available, I would really appreciate it.
