Steps to reproduce:
- Create Host discovery with linked templates
- Create Override for Template linking
- follow documentation on https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/7.0/en/manual/discovery/low_level_discovery?hl=overrides :
| Link templates | When the checkbox is marked, an input field for specifying templates will appear. Start typing the template name or click on Select next to the field and select templates from the list in a popup window. All templates linked to a host prototype will be replaced by templates from this override. |
Result:
Overridden Templates are added to host prototype templates on discovered hosts.
Expected:
Templates are Replaced on discovered hosts.
Zabbix does not work as documented, but problem can be in documentation.
