A partner opened this issue, and in my tests I observed the same behavior when adjusting user role permissions. Specifically, the user role (Super admin clone) had only the “Access to API” option disabled. While testing edits in the interface, the “Update” button kept loading indefinitely and prevented the action from completing. Enabling only the “Access to API” permission for the group resolved the issue.
