Steps to reproduce:

1. Create host with configuration:
   1. Host name: 127.0.0.1
   2. Template Linux by Zabbix agent 
   3. Group: Any.
   4. Interface: agent, IP, {HOST.HOST}
2. Move to Monitoring->Hosts. In the interface section you will find that the macro wasn't resolved. The state will be: * {HOST.HOST}
   :10050*

1. Try test any item. You will find that in test window the macro will resolver and tests will be successful.
2. Check Latest data. The data should be collected.

Expected:
The {HOST.HOST} macro will be resolved in Monitoring->Hosts window.
