ZabbixServer 7.0.5 with PostgreSQL-16 TimeScaleDB 2.23.1

      Steps to reproduce:

      With ZabbixServer 7.0.5

        DB PostgreSQL-16 

      Extension TimeScaleDB 2.23.1

      1. Updated config.dbextension = 'timescaledb'
      2. A warning from Zabbix Frontend about TimeScaleDB and ZabbixServer versions mismatch appeared after ZabbixServer Restart.
      3. Checked HouseKeeper service working as expected - dropping old history* and trends* chunks  (not deleting rows) by retention.
      4. The warning from Zabbix Frontend about TimeScaleDB and ZabbixServer versions mismatch vanished.

       

      Documentation https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/7.0/en/manual/installation/requirements tells that TimeScaleDB 2.23 is supported by ZabbixServer since 7.0.22 only.

      System keeps working with no further warnings for 18 hours up to 27.01.2026 16:00. Next HouseKeeper dropped oldest chunks as expected.

      Should I be concerned about some unexpected behaviour?
