We would like to request confirmation regarding database compatibility between a Zabbix Appliance and a non-appliance Zabbix server.

We are planning a migration due to compliance requirements. Our current environment is running on Rocky Linux, which is not allowed under our policies. As a result, we need to migrate to a supported operating system, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

During our initial testing, we exported the database from the Zabbix Appliance and imported it into a Zabbix server running on Red Hat (hostname: awssgzabx01v). However, after the database import, we are unable to log in to the Zabbix frontend.

      We would like to confirm:

      • Whether the database from a Zabbix Appliance is fully compatible with a non-appliance Zabbix installation
      • If there are any required steps, configurations, or known issues when performing this type of migration

Please refer to the attached screenshot for the login issue encountered after the database import.

Reason for request: Migration to a compliant, supported OS (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) from Rocky Linux.
