The client has upgraded from Zabbix 7.0.24 to 7.0.28 the Monitoring -> Latest data page cannot be opened for some hosts.

The page remains blank with the constantly loading indicator. Other sections for the same hosts, including Items, Graphs and Dashboards, work normally.

The issue affects different host configurations:

• a host with Windows monitoring only;
• a host with Windows and MSSQL templates;
• a host containing more than 400 items.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Monitoring -> Latest data;
2. Select one of the affected host;
3. Leave the item name filter empty;
4. Press Apply.

Result:
The latest data page remains blank and the request returns HTTP 500 code.

Apache error log contains the following:

The corresponding access log entry is:

Expected:
Latest data should dispaly all items for the selected host.

An individual item value should not cause the whole page to terminate with HTTP 500 code.

Additional information:

Changing PHP-FPM pool size and Apache timeout did not resolve the issue.

Zabbix server diagnostic information did not show history cache or value cache exhaustion.

Filtering the same hosts by the item name uptime displays the results successfully.

Shared by the client Windows and MSSQL templates have not been modified.
