Zabbix reads the MySQL version from the connection handshake, not from the database. When MySQL Router sits between Zabbix and MySQL Server, Zabbix gets the Router version.
Oracle changed the Router version format to yy.mm.

Setup environment as in description.
Result:
In zbx_dbms_version_info_extract() Unsupported DB! MySQL version 260701 is newer than 90799 End of zbx_dbms_version_info_extract() version:260701 Unable to start Zabbix server due to unsupported MySQL database version (26.07.01).
The server exits with code 1. This is written to config.dbversion_status, which Reports -> System information shows:
