The "Enable host" operation of an autoregistration or network discovery action has no effect - the host stays disabled. The audit log entry is still written, so Reports -> Audit log incorrectly reports that the host status was changed to Enabled. The "Disable host" operation works correctly. Reproduced on master (8.0); 7.4 and 7.0 are not affected.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create an autoregistration action with the operation "Disable host"
- Start an configured agent so that it autoregisters:
Hostname=TestAutoreg
HostMetadata=TestCase1 - Check that the host is created and appears as Disabled in Data collection -> Hosts
- Change the action operation to "Enable host"
- Change the agent's HostMetadata and restart the agent so that autoregistration is triggered again for the same host.
- Check the host status in Data collection -> Hosts and the entry in Reports → Audit log.
Result:
The host status stays Disabled. Reports -> Audit log nevertheless contains a host update record showing status changed from Disabled to Enabled.
Expected:
The host status is changed to Enabled, matching the audit log record
