zabbix_sender documentation is not clear

      Problem: "Specify timeout" doesn't say that the connect has a fixed 3 s timeout and that -t only applies after a successful connect.

      Reproduction: an iptables DROP on outgoing SYNs to 10051, then zabbix_sender -t 30 -vv, which stops after about 3 s.

      Expected: the man page and -h state that -t is the exchange timeout, that the connect has a fixed 3 s, and that the sender does not retry.
