Environment:Ubuntu Server 26.04, official Zabbix packages (.deb), ClickHouse 26.10.3.7, PHP 8.5, Zabbix proxy with StartAPMCollector=1
Opening APM -> Traces with PHP 8.5 shows the following message in the frontend:
Function curl_close() is deprecated since 8.5, as it has no effect since PHP 8.0
[zabbix.php:17 → require_once() → ZBase->run() → ZBase->processRequest() →
CController->run() → CControllerDataTable->doAction() →
CControllerApmTraceListData->getData() → CApiWrapper->__call() →
CFrontendApiWrapper->callMethod() → CApiWrapper->callMethod() →
CApiWrapper->callClientMethod() → CLocalApiClient->callMethod() →
CApmTrace->get() → CApmTrace->getFromClickHouse() → ApmDbClickHouse->fetch()
in include/classes/db/ApmDbClickHouse.php:143]
curl_close() (and curl_multi_close() where applicable) has had no effect since
PHP 8.0 and is deprecated in PHP 8.5. Ubuntu 26.04 ships PHP 8.5 by default,
so every APM page shows this warning.
Suggested fix:
Remove the curl_close() calls (or guard them with PHP_VERSION_ID < 80000)
in ApmDbClickHouse.php and any other frontend classes that use them.
