items with application assigned are not shown in latest data is they have no data (lastvalue=NULL)

items without application assigned are shown in latest data even if they have no data (lastvalue=NULL)... unless they are not supported, when they disappear.

this logic should not differ depending on application linkage status.

also, it is highly suggested to add some comments in code to note that there is another code block for items with or w/o application linkage
