      host.get parameters selectDHosts and selectDServices are undocumented (as in, what they do functionally)

      a) comments in the code should be added to indicate what they are expected to do functionally
      b) api docs should also explain this

      otherwise even frontend developers can look at that code for 10 minutes and fail to figure out what it is...
