Changing item in 2nd level template gives "Item X already exists on H, inherited from another template"

      mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.49, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64)
      PHP 5.3.3-7+squeeze3 with Suhosin-Patch (cli)

      I have a template hierarchy:
      TBase --> TInherit --> Hosts

      If i change an item of TInherit, everything is ok.
      Changing an item of TBase gives following error message:
      "Item ITEM already exists on HOST, inherited from another template" (HOST is one of the hosts where TInherit is applied).
