When selecting a specific host under the "Latest data" page, items from other hosts are also shows. This does not occur for every items. In the attached screenshot, we can see the system.hostname items from other hosts (s001, s002, s003) while host s201 is selected in the drop down. As seen, other items also show values from other hosts.

Selecting the first host that has been added to the inventory shows items from subsequently added hosts (3 hosts in this case). If I select the host added second, it lists items from the two subsequently added hosts. And so on... The last added host shows only it's items.
