      Hello everyone,

For as long as I can remember, the detection of the zabbix server status on the dashboard never worked for me (I think my first version of zabbix is from almost 2 years ago).

Meaning that randomly the panel "Status of Zabbix" is displaying "No" for the parameter "Zabbix server is running". I just have to refresh the page and the same parameter switch to "Yes". Well, this was no big deal, and I just added a check on the number of Zabbix server processes to know if Zabbix was really running or not in a cron script.

But with Zabbix 2.0.1, we now have a flashing message on the top screen "Zabbix server is not running: the information displayed may not be current." and it appears basically all the time... it's really annoying and people that doesn't know Zabbix as well as me now believe that something is wrong and I have to explain that it isn't...

So either I would like an option to remove this annoying wrong message or I'd like a way to correct the status detection.
