Java Gateway blocks and doesn't gather items from hosts

      Every few hours the java gateways we are running block their threads and don't respond, usually a forced restart of the gateway helps for another few hours, attached are lsof stats for the java process and a jstack trace.
      Forcing the java process to run only IPv4 sockets doesn't fix the issue.
