Can any one help me out with this..!

I have a text file on windows machine that will keep updating. I have to monitor this text file for occurrence of specific string (for eg: critical, bounce).

And if these strings occur in text file, then i should be alarmed using a trigger.

Is there a way to monitor that text file?
