1. Let's say I have a server with a JMX interface. I get everything working just fine with it and the status is shown correctly on the "Configuration"->"Hosts" screen for the JMX interface (meaning, the icon for it is green).

2. Now let's say that I stop whatever process is running on that server that provides the JMX services and then remove it because it is no longer needed. Zabbix correctly tries to talk to JMX for items that use it and detect it as down. Now the JMX interface shows as red on the "Configuration"->"Hosts" screen. Up to this point, everything is at it should be.

3. I no longer need the JMX interface for the server in Zabbix because I removed the process that used it in #2. So I go ahead and remove the interface in Zabbix through the config page for the host that is accessible from "Configuration"->"Hosts".

4. If I go and look at the "Configuration"->"Hosts" page now, the JMX interface for that server still shows as red. In my opinion, that status should be wiped out because the interface no longer exists.
