We have just updated from Zabbix v. 1.8.10 to 2.0.3 (yes, we skipped a few versions). Zabbix 2.0.3 contains bug ZBX-3616, which is marked won't fix. Colons (':') can not be used in key names.
We use the mrtgext agent (MRTGEXT.NLM) on our NetWare (Novell) servers. The following key to check the health of the server no longer works in v. 2.0.3:
NRMH:Server_Health_Status
The item (type Zabbix agent) that contains this key receives no data.
The Zabbix manual still suggests mrtgext as the agent to use to monitor NetWare servers:

We are gradually moving to new servers based on Linux, but we still have quite a few Novell NetWare servers running.
Mrtgext items for the same servers with keys UTIL15, VMFSYS and s11 work just fine.
