The issue occurs if the history is accessed from dashboard by the events hyper link ('Last change') of a trigger and then by the history hyper link provided in the small window behind the event's description.
In such case the host hyper link (displayed top left) directs not to the latest data corresponding to the host, but to the latest data for all hosts of the host group last chosen in the latest data page.
