i have upgraded my zabbix from 2.0.2 to 2.0.5 also for fix the backend performance (fixed here: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-5920)
But I had to perform a rollback to 2.0.2 because the 2.0.5 (that works better for performance) but my db crash for too many sessions and cursors opened ... also i have seen much lock in the library cache because zabbix create too many statements similar but not enough similar to be reutilized ...
I think that for oracle backend needs other improvments ...
NOTE: My zabbix monitor 248 hosts (using: agent, SNMP and JMX) with 13407 items and 2744. Indicate Required server performance, new values per second/NVPS of 218.93
