Whn applying a template to an host which already has items with the same name, corrctly links items to the template, but resets the state of items to those in the template.
For example, I'm migrating from an "1.8" template to a "2.0" (with discovery), and to keep history, I unlink the former and link the latest.
At this point, I find that all previously disabled items are now enabled as they were defined in the new template
