When I try to create an Item prototype as Type 'Zabbix trapper' with key TR.Info.

{#LLDNAME}

the GUI returns the following error:
Error in item key: "Invalid item key format.". [CItemPrototype.create -> CItemPrototype.checkInput -> CItemGeneral.checkInput]

I've tried to strip the dot char bust the error is the same.
