Frontend. Setup. Testing db connection. Got "Call to undefined function zbx_dbstr() in /usr/share/zabbix/include/db.inc.php on line 126" in apache2 error.log

      I try to install brand new environment.
      After I pushed button "test connection" got empty page.
      In error.log got

      [Sun Aug 04 03:09:31 2013] [error] [client X.X.X.X] PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function zbx_dbstr() in /usr/share/zabbix/include/db.inc.php on line 126, referer: http://Y.Y.Y.Y/zabbix/setup.php

      Then I changed db.inc.php as described here: http://blog.chinaunix.net/uid-28887495-id-3762869.html

      • everything works fine.
