Hi, just configuring new instance of proxy regarding this manual (Ubuntu 12 LTS):

I just found, that this is now deprecated in actual version of MySQL:

Set character encoding parameter in /etc/mysql/my.cnf
[mysqld]
default-character-set=utf8

When I add this line into my config, mysql server wont start.
