Suppose we open a host and simple press "Save" without doing any changes.

The frontend seems to update all applications, items, and triggers on that host, at least those linked to templates.

One of the practical problems with that (discovered further by Sasha) is if we override an update interval on an item that comes from a template, then saving a host would reinstantiate the template's update interval for that item.
