There are known issues with the "Latest data" page in the frontend. It's particularly slow when there is a lot of items to display, and most of the time, it fails.

Even though fixing these issues is necessary, "Latest data" should display so much items. Most of the time, it's because the parameter "Dropdown first entry" = "all". So the page shows all the items for all the hosts, which doesn't make any sense, except for very small environments. However, "Dropdown first entry" = "all" is necessary for all other screens (Events/Triggers/etc) because they display a summary or an aggregated view.

The "Dropdown first entry" shouldn't affect the Latest data page.
