I suggest 2nd paragraph:
"To skip receiving notifications during host maintenance, actions should be configured by retaining the default action condition 'Maintenance status = not in "maintenance"' - then you should not get problem notifications during maintenance. If a problem happens during the maintenance and is not resolved, a notification is generated after the maintenance period ends."
to replace by:
"During maintenance "with data collection" triggers are processed as usually and events are created when required. To skip receiving notifications during such maintenance type, actions should be configured by retaining the default action condition 'Maintenance status = not in "maintenance"' - then you should not get problem notifications during maintenance.
If trigger generated an event during maintenance, additional event (the same as last event created during maintenance) will created at end of maintenance. In this way if a problem happens during the maintenance and is not resolved, a notification may be generated after the maintenance period ends."

It will document missing important details and, what is more important, will link in a chain all related logical things.
Without that some people have a questions.
