i assume we are retrieving the items based on item prototype id anyway. so there is not limitation of db select vs filtering in memory - we have these graphs/items already, we do the resolution already - it's just that sorting seems to be done at the wrong time

edit : note that it is also impossible to search for a specific graph using the browser search feature, as the identificator string is in the graph png image only
