2.4.0
What's new for 2.4.0 says "For numeric items with disabled history ('history' and 'trends' set to 0), the Graph link is hidden from view in Monitoring ? Latest data. If history and trends are set to '0' globally in Administration ? General ? Housekeeping, then all Graph/History links are hidden in Latest data."
1) It's not good to hide these links, they probably should be made inactive, with a tooltip explaining why. (In the same 2.4.0. such a thing was done in host popup menu - what was hidden before became inactive).
2) However, it's still possible to plot items that have no history, by setting checkboxed and using adhoc graph functionality. Probably checkboxes for such items should be disabled - or may be not, if there will be any other functionality performed via these checkboxes?
3) Small UI thing that may be can be changed along with these. For string items we show link "History". For numeric - "Graph", but "History" is also available, but selecting "Graph" and changing the dropdown there.
Why not to show both "History" and "Graph" in the same cell for numeric items? It would give a more direct way and should no consume much screen space.
