Today, we can (only) query the audit data in a limited way in the front end.

It makes it hard to answer questions like "who disabled XYZ on host VVV ?".

With a very large Zabbix installation, this can be more than very difficult to answer.

Alone finding the relevant ID's is not easy, is it a change in a template, the entity specifically on the host, was it done via an updated LLD rule etc ?

Having links from the configuration pages and/or the action menu directly to the audit data for the specific entity would be very useful.

This way, viewing the audit data for a specific entity is a lot easier, and we get access to a lot more useful information, for instance - who is (mainly) working/maintaining this? etc.
