I think this feature can be useful.

We offer hosting service and all discovered vm are place in global host group.

I want to give access to several users to zabbix so that thay can monitor their vms.

Unfortunately zabbix cannot associate user to discovered vm, nor i can't change host group of discovered vms.

If be possiible to use vmware vm's tag in LLD (Example VmWare Customer tag), and use this tag to create a host group and associate vm to this group.

In this case we can creare user and associate user to this group and he will be able to monitor only their machine.
