There seems to be no way for a USER in Zabbix to search for a host by it's name and quickly go to it's inventory data. Zabbix ADMINS are presented a link to HOST PROPERTIES (hosts.php, a page that contains the "Host inventory" tab) within the search results. Zabbix USERS do not have the privillege to edit host properties but they should get a link to hostinventories.php instead.
